This year Superdrug are celebrating their 50th Birthday and to help celebrate the occasion Barry M brought out this amazing polish called ‘Birthday Superdrug’ this is two coats, nothing else underneath. I adore this polish, girlyness in a bottle right here! :D
I give you my very first nail art wheel! Do you like it? Do you! Because I am rather chuffed with myself for completing one. It was so much fun and I can already see that once I have a few more they will look awesome on my wall in front of my desk so when I’m having a bad day thinking I suck I can look up and slap that thought right outta my head.
I got to try out some holographic nail foil which was kindly send to me to review from the bornprettystore and it was my first experience trying foils out so I was excited and have to say it worked great!
It was so shiny and eye catching that I’ll most likely pick up some other colours myself. I picked green and came up with this design which kinda reminds me of the Earth haha.
You can find the foils by following the link below and you can also use the code KEX31 to get 10% off when you order from Born Pretty, they ship worldwide and for free which is amazing and so good for me.
I bring you swatches of Rimmels Sweetie crush collection!
I picked these up in Tescos a few weeks ago, when I bought them I obviously didn’t look closely enough because I thought they were just going to be pretty glittery polishes I didn’t notice they were textured.
From top to bottom:
When I realised these were textured polishes I was pleasantly surprised since these are the first of their kind I’ve tried. They all but the yellow applied lovely. The yellow is the only one that has bigger chunks of glitter and to me didn’t have as a nice a finish as the rest which I loved, the yellow just felt chunky to me! They dried super quick and I liked the feel of them being textured. Looking back I think the green was my personal favourite, I would recommend these but just a heads up on the yellow. :]
I wanted to try using jump rings for a design, I stuck them on by pushing them into my top coat and then adding another coat of the top coat and it stuck them pretty good. They wasn’t coming off unless forced.
I tried a nail art pen a few days ago. It was from Sally Hansen and I bought the thing last year and never used it…well now I have and it was nice, I was impressed! I was going to draw on all my nails but I love the base colour on it’s own but I will be having more of a play with the pen, might even pick up some other colours. :3

I attempted using striping tape a loooong time ago and I remember it not going well but I gave it another go and it wasn’t as traumatic this time. Going to have another go right after I go make a tea. :]
