Nailed It With Glitter

This is my first full set of gel nails. I did these on my friend Kadie last Wednesday at college, they took me 1hr 50min which I was really happy with because you give yourself 2hrs. Unfortunaley one has come off since I did them but even though that is sad. I’m still pretty chuffed with these as they was my first full timed attempt. ^^

I love these cats! They are called Maneki-Neko [招き猫] cats which is Japanese and it means Beckoning cat or welcoming cat. My favourite is the white cat. I find them really interesting and I think this is my personal favourite design now. :]

I have the most fun doing nail art when I pick some random colours and just go with it. This and my next two designs are done like that haha.

Hey everyone! These are kind of paint splatter nails. I painted my nails black, then used acrylic white paint. I just dipped my brush in and flicked it to create the spatter and then I went in with normal polish and a dotting tool to create the colour. :]

I have only recently started playing Cut the Rope [yeah I’m kinda late] and ooooh, Om Nom is the cutest little thing EVER! I thought he was so cute that I had to do a design with him on my nails, I’m happy with how this turned out.

I was shopping and I saw these cheap fake tattoos. I have seen people in the past use them for nail art, but I have never actually tried it myself and thought I would give it a go. I just painted my nail white, cut the tattoo up and stuck it to my nails! Turned out really pretty. Defiantly something I would do again if I want something insanely quick to do with little effort. 

Something cute for when you don’t want to have a crazy design. 

I’m not sure if you would call this a paisley design, but that’s kind of what it reminds me of. But it was inspired by the necklace I am holding. :]

Spongebob eyes! 

I did this and I’m still not sure if I like it or not. My little brother was kind enough to let me borrow his Spongebob toy whilst I took a picture but was stood waiting for me to give him it back when I went back inside. :]

I wanted to be sparkly so did black polish with lot’s of glitter and rhinestones, those things did not want to come off! 

I was requested to do a nautical design and here is what I came up with. I have other ideas I want to try. Red white and blue always work brilliantly together I think. OH! And we have had some nice sunshine past 5pm recently which makes is a whole lot easier getting a picture that doesn’t look like it was taken down a alley. :D

These are pretty girly, but the black line takes the edge off just enough. :]

I tried doing a gradient design and look! It worked…or at least I think it did haha. It’s a 100 times better than all the other attempts I’ve done before. 

I meant to upload this before Valentines Day but it was for a lady called Wendy who wanted a more anti Valentines Day design. ^^
